What started as curiosity quickly turned into one of the biggest challenges I'd ever faced. With just 18 days to prepare, I lined up at Krayzie's Midwinter Backyard Ultra hoping to complete my first 100 km. From finding a rhythm one lap at a time to battling fatigue, a night time storm, and my own self-doubt, this is the story of how a backyard ultra taught me that we're capable of far more than we think when we keep putting one foot in front of the other.
